<div id="subtitle">Safin beats Lopez to set up semifinal match against Federer at Wimbledon</div><div><p>Marat Safin advanced to the Wimbledon semifinals Wednesday by beating Feliciano Lopez 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (1), 6-2 to set up a match against five-time champion Roger Federer.</p><p>Safin, the first Russian man to reach the Wimbledon semifinals in the Open era, was trailing 5-2 in the first set when play was suspended by rain.</p><p>The former top-ranked player has won two Grand Slam titles, the last coming at the 2005 Australian Open.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=28095429&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
